Chef Dave’s Favorite Quick Recipes

Blackberry Bacon Jam

Dark red, chunky cranberry relish in a ceramic bowl; cheeseburger in the background on a wooden table.

Chop bacon into small, even cubes. In a sauté pan or pot, render until browned, being careful not to burn. Drain on a paper towel and let cool until crisp. Add the bacon to a small saucepan and cover with Blackberry Grill Sauce. Heat over medium-low, reducing slightly until thick and glossy—perfect for spooning over a burger.

House-made Blackberry Hickory Ice Cream

Scoops of vanilla ice cream with blackberry sauce and crumbly streusel in a gray ceramic bowl.

Start with your favorite homemade ice cream recipe. Add 1 tablespoon of Blackberry Grill Sauce per ½ quart, or adjust to taste. Fold in cornbread cookies for a crunchy, smoky-sweet treat.  -Try it at Swanky Scoop Ice Cream Shop in Woodinville-

Charcuterie Sauce for Cheese Board

Pour Blackberry Grill Sauce over your favorite chèvre roll, or warm a wheel of brie and top with the sauce. Serve alongside smoked or spicy salami for an easy charcuterie bite. Elevate by stiring in fresh blackberries before serving.
